The other day I came out of a meeting in which my client wouldn’t stop saying how much he hated their logo. He also criticised the colours and the fonts they use for their brand. That made me think:
“how do you expect people to love your brand if you can’t talk about it with love and passion?”
Branding doesn’t mean getting stuck on a logo or a colour. The brands of 2017 need to be flexible and adaptable to the new connected world. But more than anything else need to represent us and show our love and passion towards what we do best: our job.
Love is like a nice infectious disease that spreads around. If you love your brand you will transmit this passion towards your employees and/or coworkers that they will spread it to the customers. This is how communities are created, by having the same likes.
